It’s been over 18 months since we met together in real life and not just on the internet, and now we can finally meet in person, we have a Birthday to celebrate and a BOOK to launch!
Restrictions on public events have only just been lifted, but we’ve ended up as a result with a three-fold plan: a Launch, a Livestream, and an After-Party!
First, the launch of our first ever anthology, Lost, Looking and Found, is at the Outhouse Bar, 12A Broughton Street Lane, Edinburgh on Tuesday the 24th of August from 6pm to 8pm.
We have chosen an outdoor location, the courtyard of the Outhouse, but we also have exclusive use of the whole venue. Tickets for this part of the evening are very limited, as we have given priority to the writers and the students involved in the project, so grab the last few while you can.
If you cannot be with us in person, the Presentation section of the Launch, which will include readings from the book, will run from 7pm ’til 8pm, and will be streamed as a zoom webinar, then put up on our YouTube
Finally, if you’d like to come and join us after the ‘formal’ part of the evening, there will be birthday cake and celebrations in the bar from 8pm. And there will be plenty of books to buy, of course!
We hope that you will be able to join us for this triple celebration, either in person or online. As always, all our events are free, and the Outhouse is fully accessible to those with mobility needs.
All that’s left now is to invite you to visit our online shop, have a good look, and buy the only item in the window: Lost, Looking & Found https://www.edinburghliterarysalon.org/shop - only £9.99!
